Tara L. Westra Partner
Tara L. Westra, a Baltimore County native, earned her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2001. She is admitted to practice before all Maryland state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
As head of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department, Ms. Westra focuses her practice on workers’ compensation and personal injury matters. She has extensive trial experience and is a certified mediator for Maryland courts.
Ms. Westra chose a career in law to advocate for individuals who may not otherwise have a voice and to help those in need navigate the legal process to obtain the support and compensation they deserve. She approaches every case with compassion and personal commitment, fighting for each client as she would for a member of her own family.
Ms. Westra is a member of the Maryland Association for Justice, including its Women’s Caucus and Mentorship Program; the Maryland State Bar Association; the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service; and the Legislative Leaders Circle. She also serves as a Judicial Panel Attorney for the Baltimore County Bar Association.
